Food collection for
Prison Ministry Food Pantry
Our mission partner at the Dauphin County Work Release Center needs our help to put food on the shelves of their food pantry. The Center was not able to get their food allotment for May and needs food for inmates who do not have a support group in the community or are not from central PA.
Items in need include….
Raman Noodles
Kraft Mac and Cheese
Canned meat: Tuna, Vienna sausages, Chicken, SPAM…. Ect.
Hot Dogs (chicken are best for those residents with religious restrictions)
Instant Oatmeal
Spaghetti O’s or Chef Boyardee cans (with or without meat)
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Saltine Crackers
Soup: Chicken noodle, Tomato or Beef Veg
Cereal
Dry Milk
Please bring your donations to the church by next Wednesday, May 8th and put them in the food pantry collection box in the Gathering Area. If you prefer to make a financial contribution, please make a check out to MPC and put DCWRC Food Pantry on the memo line. Members of the Mission Committee will use the money to purchase the food that is needed. Questions, please contact Renee Breen.
